This tooth has been loose since October. I kid you not. Apparently my child has the strongest gums ever. We have been actively trying to get it out over the past week. Hailey's adult tooth has already grown in behind this one, so it wasn't pushing it out any further. At long last . . . Sunday morning, it came out. Thank goodness, I thought she was going to go to prom with that tooth dangling.
We told her that the tooth fairy would do something special with her water bottle to let Hailey know she'd been there, and give her a peek of her magic. She "hid" her water bottle amongst all her friends in bed with her, just to make things tough for the tooth fairy. Little did she know, you can't out-wit the tooth fairy.
Just as we promised, the tooth fairy came, trading the tooth in the star shaped box for a five dollar bill. And her water . . . well, the tooth fairy turned that into sparkly water with her magic little self.
The bottle says: "Congratulations! You've lost your first tooth! I flew in tonight, while you slept tight; and turned your water to sparkling jewels, it's a must you know, it's in the rules; now look for a surprise under your pillow pet, you'll be able to use this for something special I bet! Special wishes to you, princess, love, the tooth fairy."
My sweet girl was so excited, it was precious. She's still insisting she heard the tooth fairy in her sleep, but I don't think so!
