My hubby and I are on our way to Georgia for his cousin's wedding, so I thought this would be an appropriate time to share what I did for the wedding gift. I didn't get as creative as I had originally wanted to, but there's a lot going on right now. For one, our wood floors are completely torn up throughout our house and awaiting replacement. It's really hard to get creative when you're only seeing concrete floors. I'm just sayin'.
See what I mean? I know it's a crazy blurry picture, but that's what I got to show you what I'm working with. I think it was a gift that I got any creative juices flowing at all with this going on!! Anyway, when I checked out their registry, they hadn't gotten any of their bath towels. I, for one, am a huge fan of new towels. There's just something about a soft, fluffy, brand new towel that just makes me happy. So I went with the towels. Of course, I couldn't leave it at just the towels, so I found this pretty basket to put them in. Very handy that it had this fabric liner in it so I could do something fun with it!
I don't think I've introduced you to my Silhouette machine yet, but it is my new crush. No, forget a crush, I am in love with this machine. You'll probably be seeing a lot of it too, because it can do so many things. Anyway, before I get sidetracked . . . . I bought some heat transfer paper, made up a few words in a fun font, and got a little personal!
Hubby's cousin is a very fun guy with a great sense of humor, so just for him I personalized two of the towels too - "Mine" and "Yours." Should make things easy to remember!!
