. . . by a little girl in a brown dress. You see, she makes these cookies. These little thin cocolate minty cookies. And the hubster is slightly completely obsessed. Not only has he been harboring this secret love, but now he has brought the girls into it.
He introduced them to these little pieces of heaven the other night, immediately after the doorbell rang. Very begrudgingly introduced them, I have to say. Each of the girls got to try one cookie, while the hubster proceeded to pretty much finish off the first sleeve before the little girl was down the sidewalk. Then there were a few more doled out after dinner. Of course the girls loved them, who wouldn't?! And they are not cookie snobs by any means. They will eat any cookie they come across, although they have learned to follow it up with "but I do like yours better, Mommy." Thank you very much.
The cookies were then hidden in the freezer. He loves to eat them frozen. His own personal little stash of pleasure. He gets this adorable grin when he's going for one, and I know exactly what he's doing. He thinks he's sneaky about it. He's not.
I'm glad the little girl in brown only comes around once a year. What can I say, I like being the Cookie Mama in our house!!
